While Hively's core mission is focused on social justice and humanitarian service, we feel called to deepen and strengthen our commitment to equity & inclusion by taking a pro-actively anti-racist approach at all levels of our work.
We stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and its allies fighting on the front lines to bring our nation's everyday life into line with its highest ideals.
We are dedicated to challenging ourselves within our organization and in our work with clients to continually improve our commitment to social justice. We strive to make our business practices as inclusive and equitable as possible.
We do this by committing to a posture of humility and openness, bringing an attitude of continued learning to our thoughts and actions and by acknowledging and addressing our own privilege and participation in unjust social structures.
We do this in our business practices by supporting other women-owned businesses, with a strong commitment to supporting Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)-owned businesses as vendors and business partners.
Finally, we express this commitment through our work with clients by creating spaces where connection can be fostered, empathy can be strengthened, biases can be challenged and dismantled and organizational and team work can be re-oriented toward even deeper social justice. This means re-organizing our thoughts, our actions and -- importantly -- allocating and reallocating resources to create a more just environment.
